We are passionate about our product

We pride ourselves on offering Yarns for every budget, patterns for every style.

At Wool for Ewe we try to offer a little bit of everything and feel that we have achieved just that. We stock an extensive range of wool, including The Accidental Shepherd and Di Gilpin (Scottish wool), Erika Knight, Baa Ram Ewe (British wool) as well as supporting local dyers like Cookston Crafts and others through trunk shows and events we host throughout the year. We do, however, understand that wool is not for everyone and therefore have a vast selection of synthetic and fashion yarns for you to choose from.

Since 2007

What is now Wool for Ewe was once Maxwells Wool a haberdashers that has a history in Aberdeen for over 50 years. In 2007 Kathleen took over from the retiring owners and has turned Wool for Ewe into the awards winning Local Yarn Store (LYS) that you have today. Kathleen was joined by daughter Faye in 2009 and they are just one of the family business that have made their home in Rosemount.
